Wanderlust is a series of multi-media artworks by Angela Porter. First sketched; then produced digitally; and then printed on a linen-finish canvas where hand painting finishes the details to the final piece. The themes are expressing the fragile elegance of wanderlust and how fantasy helps renew beliefs about different cultures not tread upon (and therefore lusted after) by restrictions of recent global events: and implausible physical realities made attainable through digital mediums only and therefore continuing to exist. Linen markings denote a nod to country/colloquial expressive craft traditions and yet maintain and depict an emotional logic which appears to reference burning/apocalypse, which many of my skies do...asking....when is the arrival??
