This favourite painting of mine fuses modern fashion illustration and fashion design ideas with historical landscape references.  This series of works explore social media imagery that reflect upon and critique today's retail and online environment; they are fictional women seeking their identity and divination of the soul entwined in a morass of changing digital ‘landscapes’. The mixed media canvas is so in the currents of art culture today. The eyes seek us out and beg for answers...and likes. The size and shape is that of a hallway mirror beckoning interface.

Angela received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from York University.  A successful artist she started receiving awards for her work at the age of only ten and continues to receive numerous private and corporate commissions.  Angela is the great granddaughter of Bertram Brooker who is one of Canada’s first abstract painters and the winner  of a Governor General Literary Award.
