lias™ is the joining together of artist Angela Porter and designer Stefan Lialias. Together they formed Porter Lialias™ which is the trademark of their Canadian federally incorporated legal entity 'Porter & Lialias, Inc.'
With their unique patterns and designs they offer bespoke & made-to-measure fashion in addition to art & decorative design services.
Angela Porter received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from York University in art and design. A successful artist she started receiving awards for her work at the age of only ten and continues to receive numerous private and corporate commissions. Angela is the great granddaughter of Bertram Brooker who is one of Canada’s first abstract painters and the winner of Canada’s first Governor General’s Literary Award for fiction.

Stefan Lialias was immersed in the world of fashion from the time of his youth at his aunt's haute couture retail shop in Switzerland. There he learned to discern quality in design, materials and craftsmanship. Stefan's creative spirit has also seen him produce programming for Rogers TV, The Globe & Mail and other media outlets. He has curated and produced events for Nuit Blanche; Distillery District; City of Toronto; a record label in Las Vegas; and the West Queen West B.I.A. He is also the founder and Executive Director of ‘Street Art Showcase’ a not-for-profit managed by ‘Porter Lialias™’. It produces events and shows throughout the year that promote visual artists, musicians and performing artists from around the world. Stefan is also an actor appearing on a number of TV programs.
